An illustration from one of my e-book gigs

Hi!  This is from one of my previous e-book illustrations, am on another book already and hoping that I can get that done this week which would be ideal.  I have been flat out working on another illustration projects (the Koala and Panda) and I unfortunately cannot show what I've done thus yet.  I have been extremely busy to say the least.  The animation freelance gig that I've been working on after hours has all bee approved and invoiced for.  I am very pleased with that.

Now, to finish off the current episode am working on at Studio Moshi and move on to my current e-book job...after some sleep.  Am pretty tired.  Today's schedule has been nuts: Gym in the morning, full-time work, Japanese class for 2 hours and then freelancing.

Some journal entries!

Hi, hi!

How are things going?  Thought I would touch base.  My first week and a bit at work has been quite full on.  Lots of work to do for now.....will see how that goes.  Rob and I went to Sushi Jiro at the QV last weekend for some delicious sushi train.  We love sushi train.  I especially wanted to draw the scampi nigiri and the spicy salmon nigiri.

I also drew my fatty boombah kitty, Hanzo.  He is on a diet...but it's going to take time to lose weight, so he's still fat.  I need to lose weight too.  I really need to lessen my sugar and certainly exercise more.

Working on some test animations tomorrow.  Should be good fun!

IF: Mail

"Peggy was so surprised when she discovered that........"

This is my submission for Illustration Friday: Mail.  Thought I would leave it open ended for everyone else to fill in the blanks.

I haven't been able to submit for two weeks because of freelance work and it feels so nice to have something up for this week.  I am still on fashion illustration mode and enjoying it a lot.  Done in Flash and tweaked in Photoshop.

IF: Burning

Howdy!

This is my illustration for Illustration Friday and the theme is Burning.  I wanted to do something simple with bold colours and I went for "burning passion" and why not?  I think it's the type of burning most people wont mind at all.  This was illustrated in Flash.

I bought two awesome fashion books today: Dreaming of Chanel and Dreaming of Dior.  I would definitely recommend them!
