Game 27 Round 05: What Happened?

I was so busy yesterday that I forgot to put up a blog post.  This one is for Kookyrabbit.  The current theme is African.  I chose to mostly do animals.  I have been rushing my drawings though which is a bit of a shame.

I had a lot to do yesterday (Sunday) so I was up by 8am and worked till about 4:30.  We went out for a bit and when we got back at 9:30 pm I started working again till 1 pm. I got up and started work again at 8 am this morning.  I did get everything done but the jobs aren't over yet.  I have a bit of a break tonight, simply because I need one but I will be getting up rather early tomorrow to work on one job, submit that and get ready to work on the other job when the brief comes in.  Fun and games for me!  Busy...busy...busy....

Some journal entries!

Hi, hi!

How are things going?  Thought I would touch base.  My first week and a bit at work has been quite full on.  Lots of work to do for now.....will see how that goes.  Rob and I went to Sushi Jiro at the QV last weekend for some delicious sushi train.  We love sushi train.  I especially wanted to draw the scampi nigiri and the spicy salmon nigiri.

I also drew my fatty boombah kitty, Hanzo.  He is on a diet...but it's going to take time to lose weight, so he's still fat.  I need to lose weight too.  I really need to lessen my sugar and certainly exercise more.

Working on some test animations tomorrow.  Should be good fun!

IF: Mail

"Peggy was so surprised when she discovered that........"

This is my submission for Illustration Friday: Mail.  Thought I would leave it open ended for everyone else to fill in the blanks.

I haven't been able to submit for two weeks because of freelance work and it feels so nice to have something up for this week.  I am still on fashion illustration mode and enjoying it a lot.  Done in Flash and tweaked in Photoshop.

IF: Burning

Howdy!

This is my illustration for Illustration Friday and the theme is Burning.  I wanted to do something simple with bold colours and I went for "burning passion" and why not?  I think it's the type of burning most people wont mind at all.  This was illustrated in Flash.

I bought two awesome fashion books today: Dreaming of Chanel and Dreaming of Dior.  I would definitely recommend them!
