Hallo! This outfit was from weeks ago now when we did Formal Thursday.  First time I wore my hair in a bun and a long time since I appeared in business attire.  I find our weekly clothing themes so much fun.  I have a lot more to post here too.  I borrowed some earrings off Astri because I misplaced the earrings I was originally wearing.  Turns out I accidentally tucked it into my shirt.

Dean did the Photoshop goodness for the Jazz album rendition.

Anyway, things have been busy with delivering episodes, my weekends and Fridays are now booked for the next 3 weeks with birthdays and I have a Kid Lit conference on the 19th.  Busy, busy, busy!  Trying to exercise and move more and not eat as much but it does get hard

I spent the weekend at a baby shower, doing my taxes and catching up with outfit of the day drawings.  I just finished number 33...pretty awesome.  I can't remember the last time I made over 30 using the same medium, subject and style.  Am pretty happy about that.  Now to make another 67 or so to reach the 100 mark!  It's the goal and a challenge I've never been able to do.  Still 33, I think that's pretty good.

Am getting my 2017 taxes done tomorrow, I have an episode due this week, a conference call on Thursday and will probably stay the night with a friend, have a birthday dinner on Friday and a weekend to sort a few things out for this conference!

Some journal entries!

Hi, hi!

How are things going?  Thought I would touch base.  My first week and a bit at work has been quite full on.  Lots of work to do for now.....will see how that goes.  Rob and I went to Sushi Jiro at the QV last weekend for some delicious sushi train.  We love sushi train.  I especially wanted to draw the scampi nigiri and the spicy salmon nigiri.

I also drew my fatty boombah kitty, Hanzo.  He is on a diet...but it's going to take time to lose weight, so he's still fat.  I need to lose weight too.  I really need to lessen my sugar and certainly exercise more.

Working on some test animations tomorrow.  Should be good fun!

Space Chickens in Space Trailer

Hi, hi!  A trailer for the projects I've been working on all year at Studio Moshi, as an Animation Team Lead, has been released!  Here it is in all it's glory.  It's pretty fun and manic and colourful, with funny stories and appealing characters. All the good things that I enjoy when working on a project.

It's always interesting when working with people from different countries and time zones, getting assets and feedback but it works.

We have 4 months left on this project.  Where did the time go?  It feels like it just zipped by.  I am looking forward to a break.  I think...this time around I will focus on getting my website done and working out all my social media accounts and perhaps a few new pieces as well.

Been doing budgets too.  I think I may have been eating out way too much and shopping, but hey...can't take money with you when you die!  That said, I think I will endeavor to be a bit more frugal in the next production.

Howdy!  It's been a while since i posted anything up on the blog.  My bad. I've been super busy with one job after another and I WAS doing a few drawing challenges too before I got overrun with work.

For news, I finished up with one of my animation jobs last Monday, started work at one of my regular studios on Thursday and we're working on a cartoon movie for DVD, did drawing and freelance illustration in between those days and caught up with a friend, somebody was being a jack ass on the tram and I let them know it.   Rob and I also watched Logan, a great movie and I would totally recommend it.

Today, I did a bit of work, received text from one of my employers about more work and we're about to enjoy the day in a country fair.  Well, if we make it in time.  I also cooked up pancakes this morning and it wasn't a disaster.

Our kitty Hanzo (changed from Dorian) is causing a lot of mischief and he likes to eat electric cables.  Guess we have to find something to stop…
