What's on in Marta's life.

Hallo!

Busy, busy weekend. Been doing a job for Areeba Solutions, animations for a Devondale Website game. I'll release the link and some images once the site has been launched!

Above is my first personal work in a while. A bit more gothic than some of my other pieces. Inspired by one of my friend's modelling shoots. I posted it up on Red Bubble. Click the link on my links sections to see a bigger image of it as well as comments left by other Red Bubblers.

I am about to start doing some work for Wizzmedia after-hours. Couldn't start today as the Flash files were in the wrong format. :) But tomorrow night, am hitting it hard!

We're ahead of schedule at Ettamogah which I am very happy about and so are the folks there I imagine! Am really happy working at Ettamogah, all my friends are there and we get to go out to dinner and we have fun hanging out after work! It's really all very pleasant. We all like to eat !

Thomas and I are still working on Oil and a various other projects in -between jobs and life too. It's pretty amazing that I still find time to sleep and let alone socialize nowadays. Still, am having fun!

I am currently collecting little Japanese dolls at this toyshop on Lygon Street Melbourne. I love wooden toys and figurines that means something. Not to mention how cute they are!

Write again soo...tired now and need to get up early. Hardest part about working in-house is the travel time....

Some journal entries!

Hi, hi!

How are things going?  Thought I would touch base.  My first week and a bit at work has been quite full on.  Lots of work to do for now.....will see how that goes.  Rob and I went to Sushi Jiro at the QV last weekend for some delicious sushi train.  We love sushi train.  I especially wanted to draw the scampi nigiri and the spicy salmon nigiri.

I also drew my fatty boombah kitty, Hanzo.  He is on a diet...but it's going to take time to lose weight, so he's still fat.  I need to lose weight too.  I really need to lessen my sugar and certainly exercise more.

Working on some test animations tomorrow.  Should be good fun!

IF: Burning

Howdy!

This is my illustration for Illustration Friday and the theme is Burning.  I wanted to do something simple with bold colours and I went for "burning passion" and why not?  I think it's the type of burning most people wont mind at all.  This was illustrated in Flash.

I bought two awesome fashion books today: Dreaming of Chanel and Dreaming of Dior.  I would definitely recommend them!

IF: Mail

"Peggy was so surprised when she discovered that........"

This is my submission for Illustration Friday: Mail.  Thought I would leave it open ended for everyone else to fill in the blanks.

I haven't been able to submit for two weeks because of freelance work and it feels so nice to have something up for this week.  I am still on fashion illustration mode and enjoying it a lot.  Done in Flash and tweaked in Photoshop.
