Illustration Job: couch designs

I designed couches for a gig aaaages ago!  This was for a Math app.  Not too sure how it looked at the end but I totally enjoyed creating props for this particular project.  Despite the fast turnaround.  That said, I've been pretty used to fast turnarounds and gunning it when I need to.  This week and last week has been a pretty good example at the studio.  I had one shot completed last week for the current episode since I got bogged down by director re-takes and I stayed late a couple of nights and now am pretty much back on target.  Phew!  I was worried there for a second and have actually been stressing trying to keep up with everything I've undertaken in life.

Been reading this today : Top 5 regrets of dying and am pleased to see that currently...am pretty happy with life and what I've done and am doing things that do keep me happy and staying away from stuff that doesn't.

If I was to die today..I think my biggest regret was that I haven't gone to Japan.  I love travelling and would like to do more of it in the future.  Though I think it would be either on my own or with a partner from now on.  Tour things are great tasters but at the end of the day...I really like doing my own thing.

Some journal entries!

Hi, hi!

How are things going?  Thought I would touch base.  My first week and a bit at work has been quite full on.  Lots of work to do for now.....will see how that goes.  Rob and I went to Sushi Jiro at the QV last weekend for some delicious sushi train.  We love sushi train.  I especially wanted to draw the scampi nigiri and the spicy salmon nigiri.

I also drew my fatty boombah kitty, Hanzo.  He is on a diet...but it's going to take time to lose weight, so he's still fat.  I need to lose weight too.  I really need to lessen my sugar and certainly exercise more.

Working on some test animations tomorrow.  Should be good fun!

IF: Mail

"Peggy was so surprised when she discovered that........"

This is my submission for Illustration Friday: Mail.  Thought I would leave it open ended for everyone else to fill in the blanks.

I haven't been able to submit for two weeks because of freelance work and it feels so nice to have something up for this week.  I am still on fashion illustration mode and enjoying it a lot.  Done in Flash and tweaked in Photoshop.

IF: Burning

Howdy!

This is my illustration for Illustration Friday and the theme is Burning.  I wanted to do something simple with bold colours and I went for "burning passion" and why not?  I think it's the type of burning most people wont mind at all.  This was illustrated in Flash.

I bought two awesome fashion books today: Dreaming of Chanel and Dreaming of Dior.  I would definitely recommend them!
