Mech Hummingbird: 002

Hallo, hallo!  It's been a while, hasn't it?  Quite a few things has been happening but mostly all work still!  I was helping and arranging my boyfriend's birthday party, a lot of work has been happening, am taking a break from the hummingbirds for now and Inktober is coming.  I wonder if I should just do face.  It's very much my go to.  That said...I find that it's not very popular, in comparison to my animals anyway.  I find it to be a bit of a shame.  I wonder why it doesn't appeal to the masses?  Maybe I should try and make it more stylize?  I don't really know.

I can't believe that it's almost October.  The year is flying past! Things have been busy.  I would love to spend some time just developing myself though and I wonder if I can ever do that while working.

Some journal entries!

Hi, hi!

How are things going?  Thought I would touch base.  My first week and a bit at work has been quite full on.  Lots of work to do for now.....will see how that goes.  Rob and I went to Sushi Jiro at the QV last weekend for some delicious sushi train.  We love sushi train.  I especially wanted to draw the scampi nigiri and the spicy salmon nigiri.

I also drew my fatty boombah kitty, Hanzo.  He is on a diet...but it's going to take time to lose weight, so he's still fat.  I need to lose weight too.  I really need to lessen my sugar and certainly exercise more.

Working on some test animations tomorrow.  Should be good fun!

IF: Mail

"Peggy was so surprised when she discovered that........"

This is my submission for Illustration Friday: Mail.  Thought I would leave it open ended for everyone else to fill in the blanks.

I haven't been able to submit for two weeks because of freelance work and it feels so nice to have something up for this week.  I am still on fashion illustration mode and enjoying it a lot.  Done in Flash and tweaked in Photoshop.

IF: Burning

This is my illustration for Illustration Friday and the theme is Burning.  I wanted to do something simple with bold colours and I went for "burning passion" and why not?  I think it's the type of burning most people wont mind at all.  This was illustrated in Flash.

I bought two awesome fashion books today: Dreaming of Chanel and Dreaming of Dior.  I would definitely recommend them!
