Patterns with Maja: Hearts

 

Who celebrates Valentines Day? My partner and I don't really celebrate but I think it's a nice sentiment. Anyway, been feeling the food drawing vibe lately and I decided to draw up some heart cookies for this week's #patternswithmaja challenge.  Maja Faber runs these challenges through her email list, should find her on instagram and sign up!  I still have to post up last week's challenge (arrows) but this one is just more appropriate for Valentines day! 

I must say that it looks really good as wrapping paper. I get all my mock ups from Freepik, incase anyone was curios. I have a premium membership with them.  I have been considering generating some AI ones in Photoshop but I still prefer photo mock ups.

I drew up this pattern using copic markers and colour pencils on an old sketchbook I've never used. My ex gave me that years ago when I was still at University making that sketchbook at least 2 decades old! trying to not buy any new sketchbooks until I've finished the pads and sketchbooks I have in my possession!
