Another Venus Rising piece...still untitled

Here's a piece I started and finished last night after coming home from work.  Experimenting with water colours a bit.  I don't have a title for this one.  Some help?  Coming up with titles really isn't a strong suit.  One that came to my head was "It's Monday..."  Done with watercolours and fineliner.

Do come to the Venus Rising Exhibition on April 04, Friday at 7pm at Tago Mago: 744 High Street Thornbury, if you're about and located in Melbourne.  It should be a good night.

On another note, am thinking of doing a Tumblr page, compiling all the human faces I've drawn over the years.  I wonder if people will be interested in that?  I love faces, admittedly.

Some journal entries!

Hi, hi!

How are things going?  Thought I would touch base.  My first week and a bit at work has been quite full on.  Lots of work to do for now.....will see how that goes.  Rob and I went to Sushi Jiro at the QV last weekend for some delicious sushi train.  We love sushi train.  I especially wanted to draw the scampi nigiri and the spicy salmon nigiri.

I also drew my fatty boombah kitty, Hanzo.  He is on a diet...but it's going to take time to lose weight, so he's still fat.  I need to lose weight too.  I really need to lessen my sugar and certainly exercise more.

Working on some test animations tomorrow.  Should be good fun!

IF: Mail

"Peggy was so surprised when she discovered that........"

This is my submission for Illustration Friday: Mail.  Thought I would leave it open ended for everyone else to fill in the blanks.

I haven't been able to submit for two weeks because of freelance work and it feels so nice to have something up for this week.  I am still on fashion illustration mode and enjoying it a lot.  Done in Flash and tweaked in Photoshop.

IF: Burning

This is my illustration for Illustration Friday and the theme is Burning.  I wanted to do something simple with bold colours and I went for "burning passion" and why not?  I think it's the type of burning most people wont mind at all.  This was illustrated in Flash.

I bought two awesome fashion books today: Dreaming of Chanel and Dreaming of Dior.  I would definitely recommend them!
