Patterns with Maja: Hearts

 Oh wow!  March already!  Where did the time go?  I did this pattern for Valentine's Day and didn't post it!  It was one of the pattern challenges I occasionally do and the theme for this one was red hearts.  I drew and coloured it traditionally and then edited in Photoshop.

I didn't do too well at all with my writing on this blog in Feb.  Like I had images ready but just not the writing.  I have been working full time the last 5 weeks on an animation job.  I can't say much about it as of yet though I have to say that I really did enjoy it.  It's been a good gig and next week is my last week!  It's been good to earn money again.  it has been a while since I had to pull back on freelancing since I was working on a book last year and trying to get my patterns up.  This year though, I am aiming to consistently earn as much as I can when there are jobs available while still trying to do my own art and side hustles in the background.  It's financially not viable to just work on "possibilities" and there will always be time for that when the industry hits its slow periods. I am still really trying to get more of a passive income going through my Redbubble shop hasn't had much love in a while and I really need to fix that.

I also received some not so good news in Feb, family stuff.  I won't talk about it just yet, I am hoping that it won't end badly.  In the meantime, I am just going to keep doing my stuff as per always.
