Gouldian Finches

 

Hi!  Happy February! This year is already going past fast. Can't believe we're already on the second month of 2026. Things have been hectic. Started back at work earlier which I am very thankful for. I am actually still looking for freelance and commission work projects on top of my full-time gig so feel free to email me!

I found this unfinished Gouldian Finch illustration in my art drawer and I thought, this year has been all about completing projects so I thought it would be fitting to complete some old drawings and give them new life. This one was already partially coloured when I got to it.  I love these birds, they don't look quite real, then again a lot of Australian wildlife don't. Coloured with copic markers and a bit of digital editing.

I've been enjoying drawing full hand drawn illustration again. It has been a very long time and I would like to draw more too! Whether it's newly drawn or an incomplete illustration.
