So much stuff.....

Hi!

Well am still freelancing and the work has started to increase instead of decrease which is a good thing, need cash to maintain my current lifestyle of activities! And let's face it, I wouldn't know what to do with myself if I had no work. I'd suffer from withdrawal symptons! Dont know how it works but despite juggling 3 different contracts currently (and another 3 are pending at the moment) I also go to the gym, rock climbing and bouldering at least once a week. More if I can help it. I'm also planning to take up Acrobatics and Urban Salsa dancing! How cool is that?!?!? Funny thing is that it's one of my animation supervisors in the past (JC from Bigkidz) that teaches the class! Small world!

I've also started buying artbooks for references and inspiration! I love looking at the gorgeous pictures, makes me insanely jealous but I also gives me the desire to become a better artist and designer than what I am at the moment. Thomas gave me the best present ever for Christmas, an artbook with the character designs and works from the people who did Magnacarta. I absolutely I adore it. Going to make it a point to have 1 day a week where I only draw for me! Illustrating relaxes me and makes me happy (when it works).

Am looking forward to buy myself a nice new snazzy laptop! I can't wait! I'll finally own one. Always been meaning to buy one but everytime I have enough money to comfortably spend on it family stuff happens. Not this year though! I'm getting a laptop, travelling and everything else I aim for!

Oh yeah, image above is on Red Bubble too. I can't wait to draw something for Unit-16 . I want to do something for the Super Hero spawning pool activity.

Not much else to report...I am doing a rock climbing technique course in mid-late Feb for 3 days and I am really looking forward to it.

Personal life...things have settled down and I am much happier now. Looking forward to things and working on Oil with Thomas and looking forward to getting all projects off the ground! It's going to be an awesome year cos I am going to make it awesome!
