Illustration Job: (e-book page: Louse)

Another one of my e-book designs. I drew and inked this one up on Christmas day....cos that is how I relax.  No, really..drawing is relaxing.  I drew this one up while watching animated X-men at my parents place.  Good fun.

I have one more e-book to go on this batch. I am going to come up and finish something this weekend.  It's gonna happen people.  It's going to happen!

For other news, a very social and busy weekend and work has been full on but at the same time I have been on track and doing rather well at it.  I may even have more work as soon as the current job finishes.  Fun and games boys and girls.  Lets hope that being prolific and employed remains throughout the year!

Some journal entries!

Hi, hi!

How are things going?  Thought I would touch base.  My first week and a bit at work has been quite full on.  Lots of work to do for now.....will see how that goes.  Rob and I went to Sushi Jiro at the QV last weekend for some delicious sushi train.  We love sushi train.  I especially wanted to draw the scampi nigiri and the spicy salmon nigiri.

I also drew my fatty boombah kitty, Hanzo.  He is on a diet...but it's going to take time to lose weight, so he's still fat.  I need to lose weight too.  I really need to lessen my sugar and certainly exercise more.

Working on some test animations tomorrow.  Should be good fun!

IF: Mail

"Peggy was so surprised when she discovered that........"

This is my submission for Illustration Friday: Mail.  Thought I would leave it open ended for everyone else to fill in the blanks.

I haven't been able to submit for two weeks because of freelance work and it feels so nice to have something up for this week.  I am still on fashion illustration mode and enjoying it a lot.  Done in Flash and tweaked in Photoshop.

IF: Burning

This is my illustration for Illustration Friday and the theme is Burning.  I wanted to do something simple with bold colours and I went for "burning passion" and why not?  I think it's the type of burning most people wont mind at all.  This was illustrated in Flash.

I bought two awesome fashion books today: Dreaming of Chanel and Dreaming of Dior.  I would definitely recommend them!
