Mecha hat: lightbulb

Howdy!  Here's one of my Mecha hat designs inspired by Camilla d'Errico "Helmet Girls".  I follow very similar themes, I love drawing stuff on women's head.  I don't know why.  I've done weird machinery, animals,'s a lot of fun.  Camilla's work just reminded me how much I loved to work on that theme.  I wouldn't mind making a more of these designs with perhaps a sea creature theme or my recurring theme: rabbits.  I do love my rabbits.  Should check out my workstation at work.  The rabbit paraphernalia has multiplied.

So nice to put up drawings that I just did for fun.

Anyhoo, must get back to work!

Some journal entries!

Hi, hi!

How are things going?  Thought I would touch base.  My first week and a bit at work has been quite full on.  Lots of work to do for now.....will see how that goes.  Rob and I went to Sushi Jiro at the QV last weekend for some delicious sushi train.  We love sushi train.  I especially wanted to draw the scampi nigiri and the spicy salmon nigiri.

I also drew my fatty boombah kitty, Hanzo.  He is on a diet...but it's going to take time to lose weight, so he's still fat.  I need to lose weight too.  I really need to lessen my sugar and certainly exercise more.

Working on some test animations tomorrow.  Should be good fun!

IF: Burning

This is my illustration for Illustration Friday and the theme is Burning.  I wanted to do something simple with bold colours and I went for "burning passion" and why not?  I think it's the type of burning most people wont mind at all.  This was illustrated in Flash.

I bought two awesome fashion books today: Dreaming of Chanel and Dreaming of Dior.  I would definitely recommend them!

IF: Mail

"Peggy was so surprised when she discovered that........"

This is my submission for Illustration Friday: Mail.  Thought I would leave it open ended for everyone else to fill in the blanks.

I haven't been able to submit for two weeks because of freelance work and it feels so nice to have something up for this week.  I am still on fashion illustration mode and enjoying it a lot.  Done in Flash and tweaked in Photoshop.
