E-book page (clemencia)

One of the pages I illustrated last week.  Drawn by hand and coloured in Photoshop.  A little bit on the quirky side, this one.  I still have quite a few more books to illustrate so am going to change up the style.

It's been a few hard and busy working weeks on my ends and no signs of it slowing down just yet.  It's great but at the same time it's exhausting.  What's with all these people wanting stuff done and so last minute?  Don't really get it but lots of folks are needing stuff done in a hurry and I just need to pump it out.

Am tired and I need to get up early so I can do a bit of work at home before heading to the studio to do more work.  Absolute madness all around.

Some journal entries!

Hi, hi!

How are things going?  Thought I would touch base.  My first week and a bit at work has been quite full on.  Lots of work to do for now.....will see how that goes.  Rob and I went to Sushi Jiro at the QV last weekend for some delicious sushi train.  We love sushi train.  I especially wanted to draw the scampi nigiri and the spicy salmon nigiri.

I also drew my fatty boombah kitty, Hanzo.  He is on a diet...but it's going to take time to lose weight, so he's still fat.  I need to lose weight too.  I really need to lessen my sugar and certainly exercise more.

Working on some test animations tomorrow.  Should be good fun!

IF: Mail

"Peggy was so surprised when she discovered that........"

This is my submission for Illustration Friday: Mail.  Thought I would leave it open ended for everyone else to fill in the blanks.

I haven't been able to submit for two weeks because of freelance work and it feels so nice to have something up for this week.  I am still on fashion illustration mode and enjoying it a lot.  Done in Flash and tweaked in Photoshop.

IF: Burning

This is my illustration for Illustration Friday and the theme is Burning.  I wanted to do something simple with bold colours and I went for "burning passion" and why not?  I think it's the type of burning most people wont mind at all.  This was illustrated in Flash.

I bought two awesome fashion books today: Dreaming of Chanel and Dreaming of Dior.  I would definitely recommend them!
