Red Winged Fairy Wrens

The new piece I started on Wednesday.  It's been keeping me busy and is pretty much done.  I got a few touches to go and it's pretty much done.  First time I used this technique....where it's grey lead, markers and colour pencils combined. It gives a subdued look depending where the grey lead was more dominant.  I enjoyed it but it does take more time to do. 

A new piece am displaying at the cafe (most likely doing an exhibition opening night and everything) but will see.  The theme will have birds.  Lots of birds!
