Patterns with Maja: Week 19: Bees

One of my favourite patterns for the year. A simple one but I quite like it.  Also my only insect pattern and drawing for the year, thus far. I really need to do more, they're actually quite fun. Did this for #patternswithmaja on instagram for the theme "Bee". 

I would like to make another bee pattern (when I feel inspired to do patterns again) but this time with different bees drawn in multiple angles. It would look more dynamic.

I also enjoyed using fine liners and then colouring and shading using colour pencils. It has a different feel and I quite like it. I would like to do more in this style despite being time consuming. There is something quite relaxing zoning out while you colour within the lines (more or less).  Probably why there are so many adult colouring books out there, it's a good stress relief!
