Everyone working hard!  Stop looking at your phone, Pat!

Howdy!  So Squishface Studio will have a 1 minute segment at Coxy's Big Break.  No idea when it's going to be on TV but hey, filming on the day was rather fun.  It was also a good chance for the current Squishface residents to all make an appearance...a rare moment when we're a complete set working.

Ben did all the talking for the studio, though Pat did make a few smart ass comments to Coxy, which the man took with good humour.

Personally, I managed to get a lot of work done while the filming was going on.  The next big project I will be aiming to complete over the next few months will be my coloured fishbone comic that I collaborated with Ben.  See how we go!

Some journal entries!

Hi, hi!

How are things going?  Thought I would touch base.  My first week and a bit at work has been quite full on.  Lots of work to do for now.....will see how that goes.  Rob and I went to Sushi Jiro at the QV last weekend for some delicious sushi train.  We love sushi train.  I especially wanted to draw the scampi nigiri and the spicy salmon nigiri.

I also drew my fatty boombah kitty, Hanzo.  He is on a diet...but it's going to take time to lose weight, so he's still fat.  I need to lose weight too.  I really need to lessen my sugar and certainly exercise more.

Working on some test animations tomorrow.  Should be good fun!

IF: Mail

"Peggy was so surprised when she discovered that........"

This is my submission for Illustration Friday: Mail.  Thought I would leave it open ended for everyone else to fill in the blanks.

I haven't been able to submit for two weeks because of freelance work and it feels so nice to have something up for this week.  I am still on fashion illustration mode and enjoying it a lot.  Done in Flash and tweaked in Photoshop.

IF: Burning

Howdy!

This is my illustration for Illustration Friday and the theme is Burning.  I wanted to do something simple with bold colours and I went for "burning passion" and why not?  I think it's the type of burning most people wont mind at all.  This was illustrated in Flash.

I bought two awesome fashion books today: Dreaming of Chanel and Dreaming of Dior.  I would definitely recommend them!
