Monster Face 07

Howdy....another monster.  I wonder how many more I can come up with before I run out of ideas or simply get bored?  I tend to bounce around when it comes to themes.  Not too sure why I have monsters on the brain at the moment but it's all i feel like doodling between break times at work and going to work.  I drew this standing up while waiting for a train this morning to take me to the gym before work....then finished off at work!

Work is going much better.  I think the style is starting to click and my fix-ups have become quite minimal....hopefully this continues to go up and up.

Have I mentioned how much I wish I had more time?  Well...just incase I haven't in all my years of writing in this blog....I wish I had more time in a day to accomplish everything....

Some journal entries!

Hi, hi!

How are things going?  Thought I would touch base.  My first week and a bit at work has been quite full on.  Lots of work to do for now.....will see how that goes.  Rob and I went to Sushi Jiro at the QV last weekend for some delicious sushi train.  We love sushi train.  I especially wanted to draw the scampi nigiri and the spicy salmon nigiri.

I also drew my fatty boombah kitty, Hanzo.  He is on a diet...but it's going to take time to lose weight, so he's still fat.  I need to lose weight too.  I really need to lessen my sugar and certainly exercise more.

Working on some test animations tomorrow.  Should be good fun!

IF: Mail

"Peggy was so surprised when she discovered that........"

This is my submission for Illustration Friday: Mail.  Thought I would leave it open ended for everyone else to fill in the blanks.

I haven't been able to submit for two weeks because of freelance work and it feels so nice to have something up for this week.  I am still on fashion illustration mode and enjoying it a lot.  Done in Flash and tweaked in Photoshop.

IF: Burning

Howdy!

This is my illustration for Illustration Friday and the theme is Burning.  I wanted to do something simple with bold colours and I went for "burning passion" and why not?  I think it's the type of burning most people wont mind at all.  This was illustrated in Flash.

I bought two awesome fashion books today: Dreaming of Chanel and Dreaming of Dior.  I would definitely recommend them!
