Hi!  An awesome day of sketching today!  I actrually did 3...my favourite one is the school.  We were around the Camberwell Junction today.  There is so much to draw there that I wish I simply had more time.  If I find that I have a free week after my contract at Psychobutts, am going to go around Melbourne and sketch everything that is on my list.

I managed to sketch the school and the Meat and Wine Co. first before a few of us went to lunch at that place, where Evelyn surprised me with a brulee before we left.  It was awesome and so sweet.  I've been feeling the love from Friends and Family during my birthday.  It is a lovely feeling.

There's an exhibition of the Urban Sketchers this November at the Hawthorn Town Hall, details later.  We're limited to 4 pieces per entry.  All of these sketches qualify as they've been done in the Borundoora area.  Going to have to lay then all out and pick my best 4.  I like the school I drew today.

I feel like drawing something that isn't brick though.  I think I will go off to St Kilda and draw the clown at Luna Park next week or hang about RMIT and draw something colourful and non-brick...

Space Chickens in Space Trailer

Hi, hi!  A trailer for the projects I've been working on all year at Studio Moshi, as an Animation Team Lead, has been released!  Here it is in all it's glory.  It's pretty fun and manic and colourful, with funny stories and appealing characters. All the good things that I enjoy when working on a project.

It's always interesting when working with people from different countries and time zones, getting assets and feedback but it works.

We have 4 months left on this project.  Where did the time go?  It feels like it just zipped by.  I am looking forward to a break.  I think...this time around I will focus on getting my website done and working out all my social media accounts and perhaps a few new pieces as well.

Been doing budgets too.  I think I may have been eating out way too much and shopping, but hey...can't take money with you when you die!  That said, I think I will endeavor to be a bit more frugal in the next production.

Howdy!  It's been a while since i posted anything up on the blog.  My bad. I've been super busy with one job after another and I WAS doing a few drawing challenges too before I got overrun with work.

For news, I finished up with one of my animation jobs last Monday, started work at one of my regular studios on Thursday and we're working on a cartoon movie for DVD, did drawing and freelance illustration in between those days and caught up with a friend, somebody was being a jack ass on the tram and I let them know it.   Rob and I also watched Logan, a great movie and I would totally recommend it.

Today, I did a bit of work, received text from one of my employers about more work and we're about to enjoy the day in a country fair.  Well, if we make it in time.  I also cooked up pancakes this morning and it wasn't a disaster.

Our kitty Hanzo (changed from Dorian) is causing a lot of mischief and he likes to eat electric cables.  Guess we have to find something to stop…

Fox Trot

Hallo, hallo!  I drew this a couple of weeks ago.  Hand drawn and inked and then colored in Photoshop.  I got inspired by dance and fashion while watching Project Runaway.  I ended up binge watching the last 4 seasons that were available on Netflix...while drawing!  I like watching shows....or maybe not watching shows really, while working since it doesn't require much brain power.  I actually made a cat drawing with the same dance theme and I have another idea, maybe I'll draw it up this Friday.  I haven't colored my cat one yet either and we have a busy weekend coming up.

I will be putting this up on my Redbubble shop.  Am hoping some time next week.  Will see if time is kind to me.

Rob and I have events on Saturday and possibly Sunday.  Fathers Day is coming up, though I suspect I will see mine when my sister comes back from a holiday and we'll go out for our normal family dinner.

The current episode my team is working on, at the studio, is tracking really well.  …
