Urban Sketching: Squishface Studio (colored)
Focus on the studio
Hi! So I drew the sketch last Saturday (July 05) and just managed to finish colouring it tonight. Am pretty happy with it! Though it was my last sketch for that Saturday so am not sure if it is as good as the others but am happy with it! I still have another three to colour and am hoping to finish all of them before this coming Saturday, when I draw some new stuff! Hopefully I can colour it all on the spot though. I prefer to colour on the spot....if at all possible.
Had a lot of work to do today too and am hoping to finish the episode am working on tomorrow! We shall see. I'll make it before deadline anyway.
How are things going? Thought I would touch base. My first week and a bit at work has been quite full on. Lots of work to do for now.....will see how that goes. Rob and I went to Sushi Jiro at the QV last weekend for some delicious sushi train. We love sushi train. I especially wanted to draw the scampi nigiri and the spicy salmon nigiri.
I also drew my fatty boombah kitty, Hanzo. He is on a diet...but it's going to take time to lose weight, so he's still fat. I need to lose weight too. I really need to lessen my sugar and certainly exercise more.
Working on some test animations tomorrow. Should be good fun!
"Peggy was so surprised when she discovered that........"
This is my submission for Illustration Friday: Mail. Thought I would leave it open ended for everyone else to fill in the blanks.
I haven't been able to submit for two weeks because of freelance work and it feels so nice to have something up for this week. I am still on fashion illustration mode and enjoying it a lot. Done in Flash and tweaked in Photoshop.
This is my illustration for Illustration Friday and the theme is Burning. I wanted to do something simple with bold colours and I went for "burning passion" and why not? I think it's the type of burning most people wont mind at all. This was illustrated in Flash.
I bought two awesome fashion books today: Dreaming of Chanel and Dreaming of Dior. I would definitely recommend them!
